Manual therapy

Manual therapy is concerned with reversible disorders of the supporting and movement systems. It makes use of all manual diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for manipulating the vertebral column and the joints of the extremities which help to diagnose and treat these disorders.

Techniques of manual therapy:

• mobilization
• manipulation
• soft tissue techniques
• neuromuscular therapies (NMT): utilization of neurophysiological mechanisms to treat the muscles and mobilize the joints
